O.D.I.N. Nordlicht 1977: Campaign

Ruleset: O.D.I.N.

By David Ger

Description

The Kiruna mine, a print shop in Zurich, Porthcarn in Cornwall, the night train to Narvik. The players run the first O.D.I.N. team, the Waybill Group, through thirty years, from 1947 to the Night of Nordlicht on 14 February 1977.

White dice come from the attribute and succeed on 5 or 6. Coloured dice come from the skill and succeed on 4, 5 or 6.

Contents

  • 26 GM journals: four chapters (introduction, the first team, era rules, figures of the era), four sections, 13 missions from "Waybill" to "Nordlicht", "The Night", "After Nordlicht" and three appendices.

  • 51 handouts from the companion booklet in 16 journals, split by mission. Sharing one never shows the handouts of a later mission.

  • 12 scenes from the twelve maps of the book, from Europe 1947 to 1977 to the floor plan of Nordlicht Station, with measured scale.

  • 6 ready agents in two versions each, 1947 and 1977: Salz, Garn, Lot, Möwe, Schiefer and Zeuge, so 12 sheets.

  • 31 enemies of the era with values, dice pools, portrait and token.

  • 121 map pins, visible to the GM only.

What is missing

The night train to Narvik is a schematic in the book, two sections with their own scale. On that scene the grid only serves to move tokens; distances cannot be measured there. What the agent sheet has no field for (rank, powers, spells, signature) sits as text in the equipment field.

Requirement

The O.D.I.N. ruleset in Realm VTT. The enemies are included. The German version is O.D.I.N. Nordlicht 1977: Kampagne.

The book

"Nordlicht 1977: A Campaign for the Game Master" and "Nordlicht 1977: Handouts" are free PDFs: https://odin-rpg.pages.dev/en/book/nordlicht-1977. The book is for GMs only; the era rules draw on the Core Rulebook and the Arsenal.
