O.D.I.N. Holds of the World

Ruleset: O.D.I.N.

By David Ger

Description

Coffee at six, emergency light at night. Since 1947, nine holds from London to Cusco have been the bases of O.D.I.N., each with its own cover, floor plan, people and customs.

White dice come from the attribute and succeed on 5 or 6. Coloured dice come from the skill and succeed on 4, 5 or 6.

Contents

  • 12 journals: the introduction, one for each of the nine holds with history, location and cover, floor plan, people, what is here, daily life and customs, rumours and hooks, plus "Archives and Relays" and "Regions and Travel".

  • 9 scenes, the maps of the holds in London, Cardiff, Hamburg, Oxford, Vienna, Lagos, Lyon, Cusco and Prague, with measured scale.

  • 66 people from the holds and the relays with portrait and token.

  • 137 map pins, visible to the GM only.

What is missing

The 66 people have no dice pools; that is how the enemy list has them, as residents rather than opponents. The journals are not shared, because rumours and hooks are for the GM. Single pages such as location and cover can be shared during play.

Requirement

The O.D.I.N. ruleset in Realm VTT. The German version is O.D.I.N. Horte der Welt.

The book

"Holds of the World: The Bases of O.D.I.N." is a free PDF: https://odin-rpg.pages.dev/en/book/holds-of-the-world. Unlike the adventures, the book is for everyone at the table: players read it as a travel guide, and the home hold rule already applies at character creation.
