O.D.I.N. Grey Files: Eight Missions
Ruleset: O.D.I.N.
Price: Free
A tunnel under the Elbe, a pawnshop, a foundation in Basel, a cellar in Anderlecht. Eight files for one long evening each, all built the same way: briefing, a web of five nodes, escalation, confrontation and aftermath.
White dice come from the attribute and succeed on 5 or 6. Coloured dice come from the skill and succeed on 4, 5 or 6.
Contents
Eight files from "Foster Child" to "The Second Light" plus the introduction, 9 GM journals in total with background, people, nodes and enemy values.
8 scenes, one per file, with the grid set from the scale bar of each map: Old Elbe Tunnel, Hold-9 basement, Gwynne's Pawnshop, the Foundation in Basel, the village green of Oberwölz, the manor house at Lake Solberg, Museum Haus der Bergleute, the cellar in Anderlecht.
24 handouts from the companion booklet, one journal per file. The GM shares them when the cell finds them.
22 enemies with values, dice pools, portrait and token, exactly the ones the files refer to.
74 map pins, visible to the GM only.
Journals, handouts and enemies are not shared with players.
What is missing
The book prints the maps only with a numbered key, and the key gives away what the GM knows. In the scenes that text is therefore covered; short pieces of grid line are missing underneath. The full maps sit in the GM journals. The module has no ready agents; the four from the starter adventure fit.
Requirement
The O.D.I.N. ruleset in Realm VTT. The enemies are included; the enemy module is not needed. The German version is O.D.I.N. Graue Akten: Acht Einsätze.
The book
"Grey Files: Eight Missions for the Game Master" and the companion "Grey Files: Handouts" are free PDFs: https://odin-rpg.pages.dev/en/book/grey-files. Anyone who wants to play these files as a player should not read it.
